The vehicle
CEDISS is a five-year multiple-award IDIQ through which the Coast Guard C5I Service Center buys engineering development and integration support for new and existing C5I systems. The ceiling is $295 million and the base period runs from August 17, 2023 to June 30, 2028.
Scope
Work spans requirements analysis, system design and development, security authorization documentation, integrated logistics support, training, field engineering, and lifecycle support including manufacturing and assembly.
The systems supported under this contract carry Coast Guard mission work directly: law enforcement, search and rescue, maritime mobility, marine safety, defense readiness, marine environmental protection, and coastal security. Failure modes on these systems are operational rather than administrative, which sets the testing and cutover standard for the work.
